Grigory Gurevich Founder and Artistic Director
I would like to express my deep appreciation to the Geraldine R. Dodge
Foundation for awarding ARTS ON THE HUDSON a substantial grant in the
amount
of $30,000 for continuation and expansion of this unique artistic program.
Lisa Garrison, consultant for Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, is to be
personally thanked for her recommendation of support after visiting "Art
Workshops Festival" in May 1998. Thanks should also be extended to
the Dodge
Foundation's wonderful staff for supporting my concept and providing
important informational workshops for grant recipients.
Special thanks to C.D.B.G. for Community Development Grant in amount of
$20,000 which enables students from low income families to attend classes
offered by ARTS ON THE HUDSON.
ARTS ON THE HUDSON would not exist without the Boys and Girls Club and
specifically the support of Gary Greenberg, executive director, Toney
Rozaro
and staff of Boys & Girls Club. I would also like to thank the Learning
Community Charter School: Special thanks to Steve Krinsky, Carin Rogoff,
and
all parents of participating children and our wonderful Jersey City
community at large whose expertise and love helped to expend ARTS ON THE
HUDSON.
Thanks to Cultural Center on the Waterfront; Father Tom and Posemary
Viciconti, Principal of OLC for their support.
.
Thanks to Hudson County Cultural and Heritage Affairs, Mr. William La
Rosa
of New Jersey State Council on the Arts and County Executive Robert C.
Janiszewski for supporting the Art Workshops Festival.
